The UAE government intends to introduce a new five-year, multiple-entry tourist visa that does not require a sponsor and provides up to 90 days of stay in the country with the possibility of an additional 90 days. A user may use it for a maximum of 180 days. Anyone asking for the same must have at least $4,000 (AED 14,700) in their account, or the equivalent in foreign currencies, in the six months before applying for a visa.

• Business Visa

Without a host or sponsorship, investors, entrepreneurs, and businesspeople are permitted to apply for a business visa in the UAE.

• Visit Visa (friends/family)

If a foreigner has friends or family who are citizens or residents of the UAE, they may apply for this visa. Similar to the previous visa, this one does not need a sponsor or host.

• Temporary Work Visa

Candidates who have short-term employment commitments, such as probationary periods or project-based work, should be aware of this particular visa. A temporary work contract, an employment letter, and proof of fitness are all required for qualified applicants to obtain this visa.

• Study or Training Visa

This visa enables students or aspiring talents to take part in academic activities, specialist training courses, or internship opportunities. Educational research institutions in the public and private sectors both provide sponsorship opportunities. Additionally, a statement of purpose stating the duration and specifics of the study/training program is required from the entity.

• Family Visa

Up until the age of 18, parents could sponsor their children under the prior family residency legislation. The new legislation allows for sponsorship of male children up to the age of 25, sponsorship of female children indefinitely, and a special authorization for sponsorship of children with special needs.

• Green Visa

This five-year visa’s main use is to let holders bring their family to the UAE without the help of a sponsor or employment. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and a minimum salary of AED 15,000 to be eligible for this program, which is open to skilled workers, independent contractors, and other professionals. • Golden Visa
